The volatile 20th century threw generations of creatives headfirst into a new artistic reality, and through this Leon Hovsepian molded his legacy as an artist over nine decades of tireless work.

During his lifetime, his presence in Worcester and in the art world at large was imposing. This exhibit explores his significance to the city of Worcester, and how his artistic practice made its mark in the 20th and early 21st century American art scene. Working from the Leon Hovsepian archival collection at the Museum of Worcester, this exhibit contains digital copies of ephemera about his life’s work in the arts and photographs of his artwork.
